Practical, research-driven talks connecting hearing health to brain wellbeing.
Hearing loss is now recognised as the single largest modifiable contributor to cognitive decline risk — yet Australians wait an average of seven years before taking action.
We run free public seminars on hearing and brain health, sharing insights drawn from hundreds of hours of research into the connection between sound, cognition and longevity. The response has been remarkable, and has led to dozens of invitations to present at service organisations (such as U3A & Probus), community education groups, retirement communities and professional in-service training sessions.
In our presentations we cover:
What the latest evidence tells us about hearing loss and cognitive decline
Why standard treatment so often falls short
What can be done to get the most out of intervention
All attendees receive a complimentary copy of my book, The Power of Sound: The Science of Staying Sharp
